Hi, Iā€™m Jenna!

I am a designer currently freelancing based in Tokyo. I studied Product Design at Stanford University, where I mainly focused on human-centered design.

I first chose product design because it was a blend of art and STEM, but I quickly realized that the human aspect is what drives me the most. Design is intimately connected with the human experience, and I believe it should always be approached with that in mind. While I definitely enjoy the artistic and engineering aspects of the design process, I particularly love conducting user research, solving needs, and bringing joy to users.

Product design to me is an amazing intersection of art, science, engineering, and empathy, and to be part of such an interdisciplinary study is continually a learning experience and tons of fun.
